Orange County Orthodontics
The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommend first visiting the orthodontist around the age of 7. Most kids at this age still do not require treatment, however it is important to diagnose and plan around potential issues as the permanent teeth begin to erupt. We treat a number of conditions including crowded teeth, spacing, overbite, underbite, & crossbites just to name a few. Our goal is to produce healthy and beautiful smiles.
Whether it’s metal or clear braces, we offer the latest in orthodontic technology to help align your teeth and correct your bite. Our board certified orthodontist provides optimal care in your treatment to provide light and gentle forces to correct all types of teeth alignment problems and malocclusion. The benefits to braces and straighter teeth include: a better smile, improved ability to chew food, better alignment of teeth to brush, clean and floss more effectively, reduced grinding and premature tooth wear, and better gum and periodontal health.
Invisalign is terrific option for our patients who want a comfortable, esthetic, and convenient treatment to straighten their teeth. Invisalign uses a sequence of invisible aligners that incrementally straighten the teeth. The trays are made of smooth plastic that can be more comfortable than traditional braces. In addition to the esthetic benefits, Invisalign is removable when you need to making it significantly easier to brush, floss and clean around your teeth.
Sometimes there can be disharmony between your jaws in addition to misaligned teeth. Our orthodontist is available to diagnose and treat skeletal discrepancies such as narrow upper jaws, big “overbites” or underbites. The most common orthopedic appliance we use is a maxillary expander which widens the top jaw to gain additional space or to fit better with the lower jaw.
